Membership spans from Judges, QCs, Barristers, Solicitors, Legal Executives to Trainees, Paralegals, Pupils and University Students. AAWL is a non profit making organisation. Aims and Objectives: •to promote equality and diversity in the legal profession •to encourage new entrants into the legal profession drawn from all social backgrounds •to offer advice, guidance and assistance to those wishing to embark upon a legal career and/or to further their legal career through a mentoring scheme •to hold regular seminars and social functions to facilitate opportunities to network and draw upon the knowledge of experienced practitioners, Judge’s and QC’s •to establish a programme of continuous education for established practitioners with a view to securing Bar Council and Law Society accreditation
