The Academy of Speakers is a project that is dedicated to enhancing adolescents’ resilience, self esteem and confidence through the art of public speaking. It is founded on a unique system based on positive psychology, neuroscience and multiple intelligence research. There is a challenge within the current education system, where many students do not have access to the facilities or exposure to enhance their confidence. 74% of people suffer from speech anxiety. Therefore, the current system does not help prepare them to express themselves in public. Additionally, public speaking is one of the most valuable skill sets that employers also look for in employees. With it being the number one fear among adults, these programs give children the ability to learn these skills early so that they have identify with being a confident and capable speaker.
