Association pour un conservatoire de l'informatique, son objet est la sauvegarde et la valorisation du patrimoine informatique matériel et immatériel. Avec ses partenaires grenoblois, en région et au national elle mène à partir d' une collection d'exception des actions pédagogiques participe au rayonnement scientifique et favorise la recherche et la diffusion des connaissances. Depuis 1985 nous avons comme vocation d’être une porte d’accès vers les objets informatiques, en faisant revivre l'histoire passée et en illustrant les développements actuels. La collection est une des plus complètes de France, grâce au soutien des collectivités locales, des entreprises et des établissements universitaires. Notre espace de référence est non seulement le bâtiment qui contient notre riche collection, mais aussi l’environnement qui constitue notre patrimoine : la ville de Grenoble, avec ses traces historiques et technologiques. ---- ACONIT – Association for a Computer Heritage Conservatory ACONIT is dedicated to preserving and promoting computer heritage, both hardware and software. In partnership with local, regional, and national institutions, the association conducts educational initiatives based on an exceptional collection, contributes to scientific outreach, and supports research and knowledge dissemination. Since 1985, our mission has been to serve as a gateway to computing artifacts, reviving past history while illustrating current technological developments. With the support of local authorities, companies, and universities, our collection ranks among the most comprehensive in France.
