Asher Oilfield Services has been family owned and privately operated for over thirty years. The company was founded in 1994 by James Asher as a rod pump shop and consulting business. In 1996 Steve Asher purchased the company from his father and added slickline services to the business. The Great White Slickline equipment was added by the Asher group in 2015. In 2021 the company was purchased by five partners with decades of experience in the oil and gas industry: Bryce Asher, Ric Drennen, Mandell Greteman, Brian Jones and Scotty Sanders. Each partner brings an area of expertise from their years in the field, forming an experienced team of supervisors and drivers to form an innovative and reliable service company. The company has grown into a 20-truck operation, plus 15 flowback units, providing comprehensive services to both major and independent oil and gas companies, including slickline, braided line, gas lift gradient services, swabbing, fishing, flowback, bottom hole pressure build-ups, tubing perforations, echometer fluid levels and much more.
