Atchayam Trust is officially recognized by the Government of India as an Expert Organization in Beggary Rehabilitation. Atchayam Trust, Erode is a registered NGO (Reg.No-10/2014), established in the year 2014 by a great visionary Mr.P. NAVEENKUMAR M.E., recipient of National Youth award from Gov. of India and Chief Minister's State Youth award from Gov. of TamilNadu respectively. Being instrumental in striving for the wellbeing of the vulnerable communities of people, he bags 96+ prestigious awards. The ultimate vision of the trust is to 'Create a Beggar Free India' and its missions to strive holistically for providing a dignified life for homeless beggars, old aged, physically challenged, mentally ill people and destitutes on the streets. In 12 years of services, 1500+ homeless were rescued and 13,000+were counseled through an active involvement of 400+ young volunteers. We work in close collaboration with: The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (Government of India) for beggary prevention and rehabilitation initiatives. The Department of Social Defence (Government of Tamil Nadu) for homeless rescue, mental health, and elderly care programs. The District Administration and Police Departments across Tamil Nadu for rescue operations and family reunification drives. Various National and State Welfare Boards for resource sharing, training, and monitoring of rehabilitation centres. Through these collaborations, Atchayam Trust receives technical guidance, training support, and national-level resources to strengthen its rehabilitation programs, outreach activities, and awareness campaigns.
