WELCOME TO SKIING Atomic was born in the Austrian Alps in 1955. Founder Alois Rohrmoser handcarved race skis that would give an edge to the most successful athletes of that era. The brand’s modern-day headquarters are still located in the Pongau Valley, just five kilometers from Rohrmoser’s original workshop. This history and heritage continue to be the foundation of Atomic’s identity, from the early days of handmade wooden skis to the skis that grace the tops of World Cup podiums and remote peaks around the world today.
