About AUB Rally Paper
The AUB Rally Paper is an annual event organized by the Student Representative committee of the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at the American University of Beirut. Around 20 teams, each composed of around 100 students, compete against each other, performing challenging physical quests, answering stimulating riddles and solving testing problems, while hunting rare treasures across the country in order to get the highest amount of points. AUB’s Rally Paper is known for its ability to test the students’ limits with exciting physical challenges and stimulating brain-teasing problems while allowing them to discover new areas of Lebanon. The AUB Rally Paper has an environmental impact as it demands teams to perform eco-friendly activities (example: reforestation, recycling etc.). Every team is also required to team up with an NGO so that the money won is completely donated for a good cause. Each day consists of 6 checkpoints (12 in total) scattered all around the Lebanese territory, all the way from the North to the South of the country, including all Lebanese Governorates.
