About Australian Animal Protection Society
Australian Animal Protection Society (AAPS) rescues, cares for and rehomes animals in need. We are a no kill shelter and never euthanise for space or convenience. We rely entirely on the generosity of the wider community via donations and volunteering. AAPS was established over fifty years ago and is a community-based, registered charity that relies almost entirely upon volunteers and community support. AAPS works closely with many animal welfare organisations to provide protection, assistance, and welfare for the animals that come into our care.
