About AUV-ZHCET
AUV-ZHCET club is a group of undergraduate students who has been working on the autonomous underwater vehicle.A student chapter Autonomous Underwater Vehicle-Zakir Hussain college of engineering and technology(AUV-ZHCET) has been created to give us the platform we need.The club gives zealous engineers an opportunity to explore the depth of ocean and implement their new ideas in the field of mechanical, electronics and computer engineering. Our club comprises primarily of four teams namely Mechanical-designing and fabrication, Electrical/electronics-handling sensors and power of the vehicle, Computer-making it autonomous and management which provides the backbone of the club by helping in getting funds and hostings lectures and workshops of the club. We aim to make the students learn the skills of underwater robotics and artificial intelligence , provide industrial exposure to engineering student and represent AMU at national and international level. We have won several competition and are highly appreciated for our designs in particular.We are targeting various other competitions both nationally and internationally like- Student Autonomous Underwater vehicle(SAVe) held at Chennai by National Institute of Ocean Technology Singapore Autonomous Underwater vehicle challenge held at Singapore Polytechnic ROBOSUB held at California, San Diego by Robonation Our past achievements includes 4th position at Students Autonomous underwater vehicle(SAVe) held on 24th Jan 2019 in Chennai, Best Vehicle in SAUVC 2018, "Top 10 innovative club" in Innovation Mela at Rashtrapati Bhavan, finalists of SAVe 2012,2014,2016,2018.We aim to work harder and take our club to new heights.
