About Aviation Partnership Philippines
Aviation Partnership (Philippines) Corporation or Aplus, a Cebu Pacific subsidiary, was originally born to provide a solution and satisfy a need in an airline's operations but it eventually grew to the profitable and sought-after business venture that it is today. Our journey began when low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific had the direction to focus on its core activities and decided to outsource its maintenance and engineering support requirements. In April 2005, Singapore Airlines Engineering Company and Cebu Pacific Air signed a joint venture agreement which gave birth to Aplus whose main business was to provide line and light maintenance services. In July of the same year, Aplus officially commenced its operations. In November 2020 however, together with the appointment of a mostly new core management team in the company, Cebu Pacific decided to take sole ownership of Aplus. The company has been thriving since as the new management navigated itself through the pandemic and is now poised to take off to reach even greater heights with the full backing of its sole parent.
