AWSc - Arab women in science and engineering, is a non-profit organization (NPO) promoting equal opportunities for Arab women in the academy as well as in the tech industry. AWSc is committed to provide principle tools assisting women towards breaking down barriers and achieving success through their invaluable leadership, innovation and commitment to their sector, encouraging entrepreneurship and providing role models for the next generations. AWSc reaches female undergraduate, graduate and alumni to empower them, widen their knowledge and awaken their desire to create chances for self-employment, financial independence and achieving self-fulfillment whether in academia, industry or entrepreneurship. In addition, our activities reach young middle and high school girls to introduce them to STEM fields and help them break down social barriers and follow their academic passions in these “less traditional” fields.
