Bloom was inspired and created by passionate individuals from the marketing, tech, travel and retail industries, including university professors. Our aim was to leverage technology to help users frustrated with the broken and over-priced Indian travel experience. Bloom started by building and deploying the industry’s first proprietary cloud-based hotel technology suite to deliver a consistent and reliable product offering. In July 2012 the first Bloom hotel prototype was launched under the Bloomrooms category revolutionising the affordable travel space and disrupting global hotel brands that have typically dominated India.
