About Blue Bear Coffee Co.
Blue Bear Coffee Company sells speciality grade, singe-origin coffee online and donates 100% of its profits to organisations fighting human trafficking and caring for its survivors. This coffee company has a story like no other: Blue Bear was founded by Bryn, a former Metropolitan Police Officer and coffee lover, who witnessed the devastating impact of human trafficking first hand, after working undercover in the Dominican Republic for a human rights agency. After one particularly poignant rescue, a young girl was asked if there was anything from home the investigators could collect for her. The girl was being removed to a place of safety and would never be returning to this house again. After thinking for a while, she asked for her teddy, and was passed a dirty, damaged and dog-eared blue bear. Inspired by that exchange, Bryn sought to raise money to support the young girl and others affected by human trafficking and Blue Bear Coffee Co. was born. Blue Bear have an exclusive relationship with Clifton Coffee Roasters, who partner with them in selecting and roasting ethically sourced coffees on the basis of both their provenance and flavour. We ensure that nobody has been exploited in our supply chain. Blue Bear provides its customers with a unique opportunity to experience a diversity of delicious coffee offerings from around the world, whilst engaging in the fight to end human trafficking.
