The Wonder Gardens is a treasured Southwest Florida icon. In 1936, a local family established the site as a roadside wildlife attraction, formerly known as the Everglades Wonder Gardens. Since then, the city of Bonita Springs gained ownership of the property and deemed it a historical site.
