About BRACENET
Bracenet ist ein Hamburger Start-up für den Schutz der Meere. Wir retten Meerestiere und bewahren Ökosysteme, indem wir Geisternetze bergen und in Upcycling-Handarbeit zu neuen Produkten verarbeiten. Jedes Bracenet bedeutet ein Stück Geisternetz weniger – so stehen wir für eine Circular Economy und demokratisieren den Schutz der Meere. Langfristig wollen wir uns selbst abschaffen, denn das würde bedeuten, die Meere wären endgültig vom Spuk der Netze befreit. Dafür stehen wir im Austausch mit NGOs, Wirtschaft, Forschung und Politik, um präventive Lösungen zu entwickeln und gemeinsam mehr zu erreichen.
