About Consulting & Analytics Club, IIT Guwahati
The Consulting and Analytics Club, popularly known as C&A, is IIT Guwahati’s in-campus society, under the Technical Board of IIT Guwahati. C&A is a student body aimed at helping students explore the world of management consulting, product management and data analytics. It is a knowledge sharing interface for like-minded individuals operating through a ‘knowledge-session’ approach. C&A through its main divisions in Consulting and Data Analytics encourages students to discuss intensively on these topics and by providing a forum to develop a keener business acumen to make a lasting impact on society. The club encourages application of knowledge thus gained by participating in competitions and by working on live projects. Club members have won laurels at events, both nationally and internationally, having represented the institute in Business Case Studies, Data Science Competitions, and countless other case study events. We aim to impart and inculcate this culture of learning-by-practice among students and professionals alike, and to that end, C&A organises a multitude of events throughout the year. Our flagship Case Study competition Strategy Storm, and our free certification courses Summer Analytics and Winter Consulting draw thousands of participants from all over the world; while our Data Science championship Cascade Cup is one of the biggest hackathons on the subject in India.
