At Carter Biggs Investment Limited, we fill the need for high-value and quality healthcare logistics services for clinics, pharmacies, laboratories, and individuals. We support all types of businesses with their logistics need, ranging from small to large, as well as from national to multinationals. We are passionate about Nigeria and passionate about delivering value to the healthcare sector, in particular, keenly leading the industry as a fully indigenous, locally owned champion of the best safety standards and protocols. Achievements 1. Provision of support to the Surveillance pillar in regards to COVID response. The funds provided went a long way in supporting the officers on the field, at the state level, LGA, surge team and even walk-in sites. 2. Provisions were made for 109 officers, 9 officers directly working on POI activities as well as for 6 supervisors (POI, POI vaccination, data team, contact tracing and surveillance activities at the LGA). 3. Funds contributed by CarterBiggs were used to conduct contact tracing training for about 157 persons across the state. The funds were also used to get a hall while partners (WHO and CARITAS) provided refreshments and transportation for participants. 4. We were able to print sample tracking forms which were distributed to the 21 LGA sample collection sites, 10 oxygen triage centres, LSB/Mainland as well as LASUTH where sample collection also takes place. We were also able to make ID cards for all our field officers.
