Celerity DRS GmbH are the exclusive European distributor for the PSI Automatic Tyre Inflation System (PSI-system), produced by Pressure Systems International (PSI) based in the US. The majority of road accidents happen because of tyre blow-outs as a result of incorrect tyre pressures. The PSI-system automatically maintains the correct tyre pressure of all trailer tyres, preventing blow outs while also reducing drag and uneven tyre wear, therefore extending the life span of the trailer’s tyres. The system also informs you immediately if there is a drop-in pressure, which is often to indicate it is managing the issue, but it will also notify you in the rare event of a critical drop in pressure to allow you to come to a stop as quickly and safely as possible. The PSI-system reduces downtime because even in the event of a puncture you can drive on meaning loads will always reach their destination on time, furthermore refrigerated loads are not at risk of being lost, both of these points enhance reliability and increase profitability. Moreover, the PSI-system is proven to reduce emissions of fine particulates as a result of reduced drag adding to your fleets credibility. The system can be installed on most major trailer axle models and is available for new trailers and can be retrofitted to trailers already in service.
