The company was established back in 1974 in Amritsar in Punjab and went on to become one of the largest manufacturer-exporter of basmati rice. Founded on the core principles of integrity, trust, honesty and fair dealings, Chaman Lal Setia Exports Ltd. grew as its Maharani basmati rice gained popularity for its distinguished flavor and taste. The company started its exports in 1982 and got recognized as an export house by Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India in 1989. With the passage of time, we upgraded ourselves and at present we are a Star Exports House. We have marked our presence in a number of states in India. We are constantly evolving to reach more and more states. In the international market, we are exporting rice to more than 70 countries across the world in the Maharani brand or under the private labels of the customers. We are equipped with one of the finest, automated, state of art rice processing plants. Our ultra-modern facility in Karnal has huge milling & processing capacity.Currently, the company is managed by younger generation with the help of trained and expert professionals with specialization in selection, manufacture and process of rice of the highest quality. From farms to packaging, we have a defined set of quality parameters that are rigorously implemented to assure highest levels of satisfaction in each of our products. We process rice in-house and use parboiled, raw, steam process using the finest equipments to ensure physical, aromatic and taste qualities remain intact. Our exclusive range features flavored rice and rice for diabetics. We know rice like no one else and offer it in a way no other manufacturer can.
