About Child Heart International
Child Heart International is established for congenital heart surgeries and cardiology. So it is a specialized unit for pediatric cardiology & pediatric surgeries. In 2009, under the banner of Child Heart Care at lifeline hospital under the leadership of Dr. Prashant Shah as been established. For 10 years under the banner of Child heart international (Unit of NAMAR Medicare International LLP) more than 5000 pediatric cardiac surgeries have been performed in various hospitals. The team includes Dr. Prashant Shah as the Chief Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon & Dr. Harun Ramasami as Pediatric Cardio Surgeon. Dr.M.S. Ranjith & Dr. Karthick Surya are Senior Consultant Pediatric Cardiologists & Consultant Pediatric Cardiologists respectively. Dr. Prashanth Prasanna Bhaskar & Dr. Venuraj Warke are Consultant Cardiac Anesthetist. Senior Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Specialist Dr.R. Shrishu Kamath. Dr. Mohammad Riaz as Fellow Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon and paramedical staff who takes care and helps in Operation Theater and ICU they are fully trained to manage the small baby with heart problems. To date we have performed surgeries for patients from more than nine countries Now we operate from Sooriya Hospital, Saligramam, Chennai. Kanchi kamakoti child Trust Hospital, Nungambakkam, Chennai & SIMS (SRM Institutes of Medical Science), Vadapalani, Chennai. Our international unit at Imam Zain Alabiden Hospital, Karbala, Iraq & Mauritius. Under this banner, our team travels to small villages every 15 days and conducts camp. Identify the pediatric cardiac patient and this patient will be screened and manage at the Chennai unit, it is completely free of cost under the help of chief minister health scheme and some of the NGOs. Our association with the Rotary club is since 2009 and with several rotary clubs of different cities and towns.
