A true pioneer, Gaby envisioned one of the first luxury ready-to-wear houses: an alternative to haute couture, offering more accessible and less rigid fashion to accompany women in their life. The story of Chloé began with friendship — Gaby named her Maison after her friend Chloé Huisman, whose round and feminine handwriting she admired, later crafting one of the first Chloé logos from it. A collective and creative energy was established around this name. Driven by Gaby's perspective, visionary designers including Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Phoebe Philo, and Clare Waight Keller, made their debuts at Chloé: showing an openness to emerging talent that the Maison has perpetuated through to today.
