We’ve been providing ready-mix concrete, aggregates, and civil construction services in Canterbury for over 60 years. As a Kiwi owned and operated company, we take great pride in providing outstanding service, quality products, and workmanship to your customers. Christchurch Ready Mix Concrete is all about long-term partnerships, built on honesty, integrity, and trust. Formed in 1962, Christchurch Ready Mix Concrete was a division of Transport North Canterbury, a company founded in the 1930s by Mr R. G. Grant. In 1985, his sons Bob and Roly purchased the ready-mix concrete, shingle, sand and contracting divisions. In April 2025, Christchurch Ready-Mix Concrete was acquired by H.W. Richardson Group (HWR). Also being a Kiwi family-owned business, HWR is excited to carry on the proud legacy of the brand and continue delivering the quality products and services that Christchurch Ready-Mix Concrete is known for.
