About Climate Obstruction NL
Climate Obstruction NL is an independent knowledge organisation that identifies and analyses climate obstruction in the Netherlands. We collect research on how actors, strategies and narratives work to delay, weaken or undermine effective climate action. We translate that knowledge into practical insights for policymakers, civil society organisations, journalists, etc. Our work helps spot obstruction early, grasp its implications. We provide this support through focused trainings, workshops, briefings and factsheets. Our work is grounded in collaboration: we facilitate a national research network of academics, investigative journalists and action-oriented researchers focused on climate obstruction. The network now includes more than eighty active members. CONL forms the Dutch chapter of the international Climate Social Science Network (CSSN), based at Brown University.
