Founded by Katie Campbell ACC, TAP.dip LFEDIP and Carolyn (Caz) Cooper ACC, MBA, FCMI senior leaders, the network was created to provide a unified voice and strategic support in response to growing challenges in the field. Clinical coding underpins healthcare data, driving funding, research, planning, and patient safety. Yet, the profession faces a shortage of qualified coders, limited career development, and rapid technological change. The CCLN addresses these issues by promoting knowledge sharing, advocacy, and professional growth. We unite coders at all levels: trainees, auditors, trainers, Heads of Coding, aspirant Heads of Clinical Coding as well as key stakeholders.
