About Dhaanika
Every initiative starts with a problem, ours germinated with the realization that farming is unviable for the farmers and chemical intensive agriculture is producing unsafe food. To us the solution seemed simple: Farmers produce food using locally available resources reducing their input cost, eat healthy food and sell their excess production after collectively processing it. With the vision of 'Healthy & Chemical Free' For All, we are trying to create market linkage for women-led farmer producer organisation, who are cultivating chemical free food through zero budget natural farming. We are working in Kanpur and 5 other districts of Uttar Pradesh with 1200 women farmers. Dhaanika aims to provide safe chemical food for all, women led farmers produce organic food that is manufactured through sustainable farming practices. Dhaanika maintains the taste and flavor through manual process of production.
