About Digital World Summit Greece
Digital World Summit Greece is the National Regional Initiative (NRI), as part of the global United Nations IGF Network, and focuses on organizing the National Annual Conference about digital governance in Greece. Our objective lies in involving experts and citizens, government and academia, the public and the private sector in a multidimensional and interdisciplinary discussion about Internet Governance, where the agenda, the procedure and the final outcome will stem from the community itself. Our multistakeholder and democratic platform will present and reflect upon the concerns, ideas and opinions of different groups within the Greek society. ___________________________ Tο Digital World Summit Greece αποτελεί την ελληνική πρωτοβουλία στα πλαίσια του δικτύου IGF των Ηνωμένων Εθνών, και επικεντρώνεται στη διοργάνωση του ετήσιου συνεδρίου σχετικά με την Διακυβέρνηση του Διαδικτύου στην Ελλάδα. Ο στόχος μας είναι η συμμετοχή εμπειρογνωμόνων, πολιτών, εκπροσώπων της κυβέρνησης, της ακαδημαϊκής κοινότητας, του δημόσιου και του ιδιωτικού τομέα σε μια πολυδιάστατη και διεπιστημονική συζήτηση σχετικά με τη Διαδικτυακή Διακυβέρνηση, όπου η ατζέντα, η διαδικασία και το τελικό αποτέλεσμα θα προέλθουν από την ίδια την κοινότητα, μέσα από ανοιχτές διαδικασίες. Σκοπός του DWS Greece είναι να προσφέρει μια ανοιχτή, διαφανή, πολυμερή και δημοκρατική πλατφόρμα συζήτησης, που θα παρουσιάζει και θα εγείρει συζητήσεις πάνω στις ανησυχίες, τις ιδέες και τις απόψεις διαφορετικών ομάδων στην ελληνική κοινωνία, με στόχο τη διερεύνηση συμμετοχικών πολιτικών για μια πιο επιτυχημένη και δημοκρατική διακυβέρνηση.
