Eden Park’s story began in 1987, when two international rugby players who belonged to one of the most prestigious sports clubs world-wide – the Racing Club de France – decided to create an upmarket ready-to-wear brand. Franck Mesnel and Eric Blanc, who were students at the time, applied their creative and off-beat mind to the conceptualization of a brand whose inspiration and codes came from an extraordinary and authentic story. In line with some athletes’ atypical sports approach, they have developed an off-beat style, combined with a constant elegance. Driven by a taste for paradox and the attention to detail, they have created a true Eden Park style, with the emblematic rugby jersey, available in different styles. Eden Park was the obvious name given after the Auckland rugby stadium in New Zealand, the Mecca of rugby: scene of the first World Cup attended by Franck Mesnel as a finalist in 1987.
