Créée en 1986, l’association L’enfant@l’hôpital utilise le meilleur des technologies web pour apporter la culture aux enfants et adolescents malades, hospitalisés ou en situation de handicap. Via Kolibri, sa web-appli interactive unique, ses Voyageurs solidaires envoient, des quatre coins du monde, des reportages comprenant des photos , vidéos, défis et énigmes et répondent personnellement aux jeunes. Un réseau de jeunes volontaires-stagiaires et de bénévoles visite chaque jour les hôpitaux, les centres de soins, les établissements médico-sociaux et les établissements scolaires accueillant les dispositifs ULIS (Unités localisées pour l'inclusion scolaire). Cet accompagnement de proximité favorise une relation unique qui répond à la demande particulière exprimée par chaque enfant et l'aide à rompre son isolement. L’association est agréée par le Ministère de l’Education Nationale et reconnue d'intérêt général depuis 2018.
