About EpiMedica
EpiMedica is a translational biology platform focused on targeting senescence as a core driver of disease across oncology and aging. Our work is grounded in mechanistic and translational research demonstrating that therapy-induced and age-associated senescent cells are biologically active, measurable, and therapeutically actionable. Rather than focusing exclusively on tumor genetics or downstream disease manifestations, we address an underexplored but critical layer of biology: persistent senescent cells within tumors, tissues, and the microenvironment that drive resistance, recurrence, functional decline, and loss of resilience. In oncology, we are advancing an approach we refer to as oncosenescence followed by oncosenolysis — first inducing senescence in malignant cells, then selectively eliminating those senescent cells using senolytic strategies. This framework is supported by in vitro human data and is now being translated into in vivo validation. In parallel, our longevity program targets conserved aging mechanisms, including cellular stress responses, senescence, tissue dysfunction, and system-level decline, with the goal of generating high-quality in vivo data to support long-term clinical development. EpiMedica operates as a platform-driven, execution-focused organization, working with experienced scientists and clinicians through equity-aligned collaborations. Our emphasis is on translational rigor, real biological signal, and data that meaningfully informs therapeutic development — not isolated academic findings. We actively collaborate with in vivo scientists, clinicians, and strategic partners who share an interest in building durable, biology-first solutions to cancer and age-driven disease.
