The Foundation aimed at education in the area of digital literacy; photography, videography, audio documentaries, and social media. The founder started a personal project called Bits of Borno www.bitsofborno.com which has been profiled by the New York Times, CNN and many other news agencies. Subsequently, there was one successful photo workshop funded by USAID…The workshop was profiled by the BBC. And with the support of Africa Transitional Justice Legacy Fund (ATJLF). https://atjlf.org/press-release-for-cohort-3-grantees/A collection called Kanem Creative [named after the Kanem Bornu Empire] will be first phase of our project.
