FC United of Manchester is the UK’s largest 100% fan-owned football club — founded by supporters who refused to accept that football should be about profit over people. Formed in 2005 by Manchester United fans who stood up against the Glazer takeover, we built something new: a democratic, community-driven club where every member has an equal say, and where the game remains affordable, inclusive, and rooted in local values. Based at Broadhurst Park in Moston, we compete in the Northern Premier League and continue to show that a different kind of football is not only possible, but thriving. As a Community Benefit Society, everything we do is about creating social value — from delivering education and health programmes to running grassroots sport and championing inclusion. We don’t just play football. We use it to bring people together, change lives, and prove that fans, when united, can build something powerful and lasting: ⚽ Responsible ownership in football – Football clubs should serve their supporters and communities, not private interests.
