Only a vertical header allows for “Free-Flow” of RAS over the entire active membrane surface with no hydraulic restrictions, aeration by-passing or debris collection issues found in other technologies. Additionally, with a vertical header design, RAS Energy can now be employed as the primary scouring mechanism in place of air, resulting in substantial energy savings.
