About Fondazione Edu
Edu Foundation’s goal is to promote higher education in Africa, with a particular focus on technical-scientific and agronomic studies. We offer African students the opportunity to access higher level education in their country of origin, by enhancing a student’s individual growth and enriching his/hers professional competence which, in the long term, can contribute to the social-economic development of the country. The activities carried out by the Edu Foundation are aimed at supporting the development of skills in Africa, and more concretely at providing university scholarships that are comprehensive of the overall study costs and the related expenses. Edu Foundation is currently working in Ghana and Tanzania, while in the past it has supported students also in Mozambique, Uganda, Malawi, Burkina Faso, Guinea and Côte d'Ivoire, where it promotes the acquisition of professional competencies concerning, in particular, technical-scientific fields. Since its creation, the Edu Foundation has assisted more then 600 African students by offering them a chance to access a undergraduate course in their own country.
