About Genwell UK
Genwell is an online clinic designed by GPs for people who want the best possible results from their weight loss journey - not just on the scales, but in how they look, feel and live long term. Founded by more than 100 GPs, Genwell was created to address a gap in traditional weight care. Every day, we saw patients navigating weight gain alongside hormonal changes, insulin resistance, long-term health conditions and repeated cycles of weight regain. We also saw people turning to weight loss medication without the ongoing support needed to prevent side effects and protect muscle, bone, skin and hair. So we built the service we wanted for our own patients: one that combines personalised medication with dedicated GP oversight, nutrition, coaching and long-term support. Where appropriate, weight loss medication is prescribed as part of a personalised care plan. Genwell’s focus on doctor-led care and improving long-term metabolic risk means that, unlike many other providers, we’re able to help those at a lower BMI threshold or have more complex requirements as part of their weight care journey. While weight loss is often the first step, our vision is broader. We believe better metabolic health has the power to transform how people feel, function and live - today and for years to come.
