About Get Wasted
As an online marketplace for food surpluses, Get Wasted puts an end to food waste. We do this by bringing together all links of the food supply chain - from farmers to producers, wholesalers and the processing industry - in one circular ecosystem. On Get Wasted you simply give value to food surpluses or residual flows by selling them at an affordable but competitive rate to your ideal match in the ecosystem. This can be a processing company that turns it into a new product, actors from the social economy who buy fresh food at an affordable rate, or catering businesses that want to make their range more sustainable. This project is co-funded by the European Union and supported by Circular Flanders, la Ville de Bruxelles and Growzer.
