The Guernsey International Business Association (GIBA) is the representative body of the financial services industry in Guernsey. Our membership consists of all the major financial institutions and professional firms on the island. Our member associations are: Association of Guernsey Banks (AGB) Guernsey Association of Trustees (GAT) Guernsey Commercial Bar Association Guernsey International Insurance Association (GIIA) Guernsey Investment Fund Association (GIFA) Guernsey Investment Managers & Stockbrokers Association (GIMSA) Guernsey Society of Chartered & Certified Accountants (GSCCA) We have a governing council comprising of representatives of all sectors of the industry, which meets on a monthly basis to discuss all current issues affecting the industry. GIBA representatives sit on a number of institutions and working groups, working in consultation with local government committees and regulators on domestic and international issues relevant to the finance sector and related service industries. GIBA also champions the positive contribution that the finance sector makes to Guernsey's economy, the community and its support of many charities on the island.
