Just 20kms from Red Cliffs is Gill Wine Estate, a family owned and operated boutique winery, the first commercial release being vintage 2021 and yielding award winning wine- bringing the ‘Rivah’ wine range to life. The Gill family are generational farmers. Their philosophy is not only to work the land BUT to GROW with it and share with you. "Let's just start. We will produce 1000 cases of each wine variety, have some fun, share it with locals - and see where it takes us!" — Hardeep, Director Today, Gill Farms and Gill Estate is a family-owned intertwined business that comprises 2,500 acres and employs 30 full-time team members. Together, Billa (Founder) and his sons Hardeep and Danny (Directors) farm almonds, citrus, avocados, mangoes, and of course the delicate and fruitful wine grapes. THE ‘RIVAH’ RANGE Estate Grown Fruit selected by our Winemaker in the vineyard to ensure ideal harvest conditions and timing to capture optimal fruit flavour producing our quality wines. Gill Estate have received great reviews and has won Silver Medal at the 2022 Australian Alternative Variety Wine Show for its 2021 ‘Rivah’ Tempranillo – a fantastic beginning for the winery. Range also compromises of Malbec, Pinot Grigio, Rosé, and Sauvignon Blanc The Gill family and Gill Estate team hope that people can find time to sit back and savour a glass of their ‘Rivah’ wine range, while remembering how magnificent the lifestyle we share in Australia is, in particular - our home on the Murray River.
