About Global Schools Forum

Global Schools Forum (GSF) is a community convenor, knowledge accelerator, funding catalyst, and partnership builder supporting non-state education organisations in low- and middle-income countries to innovate, deepen impact, and achieve scale. The GSF community comprises over 180 schools, school networks, education support organisations, innovators, entrepreneurs and funders across 70 countries, impacting 135m children across 1.38m schools. Since 2017, GSF has become a leading accelerator for locally-led education innovation in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Community convenor: Connecting a global community of grass-root education innovators to build relationships, trust, and collaboration. GSF creates a unique space for non-state education organisations to continually self-improve and refine their approaches, providing a global platform to global policy influencers and decision-makers. Knowledge accelerator: Amplifying the collective know-how of the community for the benefit of all in global education. GSF provides a full spectrum of support – from co-creating lighter-touch practical tools and resources with members and partners, to intensive coaching support aimed at solving the deep organisational challenges that education organisations face. Funding catalyst: Increasing finance flowing into education by creating connections between members, funders, and the broader education sector. GSF provides practical support to help organisations access funding opportunities, catalyse new funding vehicles and mechanisms, and directly connect members to funders—ultimately accelerating the pace and scale of investment into education.
