GreenTask is a two-sided marketplace that connects organisations, corporate CSR departments, NGOs, and local governments with workers in emerging markets for paid environmental micro-tasks like tree planting, waste cleanup, and land restoration. We make it simple for organisations to commission, track, and verify real-world environmental work at scale, while creating meaningful paid employment for communities on the front lines of climate change. Our platform handles the full lifecycle: task creation, worker matching, AI-powered verification of completed work, and automated payments, removing the operational friction that makes large-scale environmental projects difficult to manage. GreenTask started as a hackathon project at the International hAIckathon in November 2025, where we placed 2nd out of 250+ selected participants from 30+ countries. We've since grown into a fully launched product available on both the App Store and Google Play, backed by the NCTA accelerator (Sustainable Ventures + Barclays Eagle Labs).
