The origin of Healthic® is deeply global. Observation trips to Germany, Austria and Switzerland —cradle of the most advanced infection control systems—, together with years of experience of its founders facing the challenges of the health system in Latin America, were the basis of a transformative vision. The marked differences between both worlds inspired the creation of a company that combines the best of European state-of-the-art technology with the ability to adapt to local realities, both from engineering and business models. The challenge was clear: to make technology designed for European contexts work profitably, sustainably and accessibly in any corner of Latin America. After more than a decade of observing that the mere availability of technology did not guarantee its adoption, the founders led the implementation of numerous sterilization center projects in Mexico, benefiting millions of patients with safer surgeries. This is how Healthic® was born, the bet to democratize access to safe surgical materials. The company was founded with the conviction that, by integrating cutting-edge technology, highly qualified talent, standardized processes and innovative financing models, it is possible to radically change the way medical materials and surgical interventions are processed and managed in the region. The idea took shape in December 2017 and, after years of preparation, in March 2020 the first Healthic® sterilization center, the MS1, began operations, marking the beginning of a path that continues to grow and consolidate the company's vision: protect what matters —health teams, patients and the planet— with intelligent sterilization solutions that elevate efficiency, quality and access in medical care.
