About HEALTHO Organization
Health Efficient, Accessible, Long-Lasting and Treatment at Homeland Organization (HEALTHO) is an independent non-governmental, non-profit Afghan national organization that was established in 2008 and registered with the Ministry of Economy in 2012. HEALHTO’s learning experience as a health and development organization comes from its working association with communities in different areas of Afghanistan. More importantly, the development and growth of the organization have been through an evolutionary process. Beside HEALTHO is member of Afghanistan National Public Health Association (ANPHA), Education international (EI), Agency Coordinating Body for Afghan Relief and Development (ACBAR) and Afghan NGOs Coordination Bureau (ANCB). HEALHTO has implemented different types of educational, Vocational trainings, capacity building/ workforce development, women improvement and community development, E- Health, E- Learning, projects from different organization such as Canadian Joint Force, USAID, DAI/WIE, GIZ/ADAV, IRD/KFZ, WB/MAIL/NHLP, MOSLA, Chemonics International WHO and Ministry of Public Health in all provinces of Afghanistan. The purpose of establishment of HEALTHO was to create the highest level of positive impact on Afghan society by providing formal and informal education, Health, capacity building and income generation support interventions for women, children, men and youth throughout Afghanistan by using sound, sustainable and responsive community-based approaches to rehabilitate and empower people and communities.
