Hugg & Hall was formed in Arkansas as Lift Truck Sales & Service, a distributor of Clark Equipment Co. industrial forklifts, eventually updating their name to Clarklift of Arkansas. John Hugg & Robert Hall purchased the company from Charles Hugg in 1990 and, with a subsequent acquisition, began doing business as Hugg & Hall. Since, Hugg & Hall has acquired Arkla Taylor, Westquip, RPM Services and Rental and Southern Material Handling Company, expanding their operation to 18 locations serving Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas.
