The Humane Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (The Humane Society) is a 501c-3 charitable organization located in Columbia, South Carolina. The Mission of the Humane Society is to end animal cruelty, neglect, and overpopulation by offering low cost spay and neuter surgery. In addition to our spay/neuter program, we offer a program to help manage colonies of feral cats. We promote responsible pet ownership and offer presentations regarding the humane animal care. The vision of the Humane Society is to offer affordable spay/neuter services to the public and to treat our customers with respect and professionalism in order to spread our mission of reducing animal overpopulation, abuse and neglect.
