About Inclusys
Talk With Me is a collaborative learning tool where children with autism sit alongside and share the app with people in their lives, to have social conversations. It comes with a variety of topics for children to practice. Talk With Me is fully customisable. Educators and parents can personalise the content according to the child’s needs. We tested it at special needs centers in New Zealand and India, and parents and therapists reported that after using our tool: "skills were transferred to real life" "children now greeting each other in class; they never did that before" "it helped create an enduring friendship" "our daughter said for the first time: Dad, I want to play, let’s go out and play" "the more he uses it the more he likes it" "this is the only educational app that lasted this long" Therapists tell us there is no other tool for teaching the flow of conversation. Talk With Me focuses on real life interaction, and not interaction between the child and device. It teaches turn taking and sharing, promoting joint attention & cooperation. Users can fully customize the existing content according to the child’s needs, and create new content for the child. It requires minimal training and there is no negative feedback. It helps therapist be more productive, as children work in pairs & require minimal intervention.
