About INSPIRA Marian IEDC
INSPIRA - Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) of Marian Engineering College is mentored and supported by Kerala Startup Mission. The Centre aims to provide students with an opportunity to experiment and innovate. It provides avenues for creative students to learn, collaborate and transform their innovative ideas into prototypes of viable products and services. We at IEDC MCE host various sessions, workshops, competitions, technology seminars and hands-on training to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among the student and academic fraternity and foster our institution's innovation culture. Students are encouraged to think out of the syllabus to identify problems, which can’t be solved, and to develop a product as an outcome of the solution. They are given end-to-end support through which they can file a patent and market the product. Lots of successful startups are functioning on the campus and incubated in the Marian Technology Incubation Centre.
