Welcome to the Insurance Institute of York LinkedIn Page– the home of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and Personal Finance Society (PFS) in York. The CII and PFS are the flag bearers of professionalism in both the Insurance and Financial Services professions. Here in York, we have a rich and well respected representation in both professions, from the very largest names, to some of the best smaller brokerage and advisory firms in the region. Our main role as a local Institute is to provide our members with a high quality educational programme which will help them with their ongoing professional duties. We do this by delivering CII/PFS Accredited evening lectures and seminars on a range of topics, all of which count towards structured CPD and most of which are free to attend. We encourage all members (and non-members who are thinking of joining) to attend our lecture evenings and seminars, not only to increase professional knowledge but as an opportunity to network with fellow professionals in York. We provide a series of hugely enjoyable social events throughout the year. These range from the Treasure Hunt and Quiz, to our flagship event which is the Annual Dinner. These events are a great opportunity to socialise with colleagues, celebrate success and network with like-minded peers. As an Institute, we are keen to be as inclusive as we possibly can – we are, after all, here to serve you, our members!
