Iranian National Tax Administration (INTA) is a national collection of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance that established in 2002. One of the duties of this organization is the reform of the tax system and the mechanization of the country's tax system, enforcement of value added tax and all matters relating to the implementation of provisions for direct and indirect taxes, other taxes and all related procedures, including identification of taxpayers, filing and filing tax certificates, tax identification and settlement and resolution of tax disputes and collection of taxes on a regular basis or through enforcement operations and other tax related issues within the framework of tax laws and other current laws of the country and electronic and internet-base payments System . In order to implement Article 59 of the Law of the Third Plan of Economic, Social and Cultural Development of Iran, in order to increase the efficiency of the tax system and eliminate existing organizational barriers as well as focus all tax affairs in a single organization. The form of a government institution was created under the auspices of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance. With the establishment of this organization, all the powers, duties, manpower, facilities and equipment available to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance in the department of tax affairs were transferred to this organization. Since December 2015, Mr. Seyyed Kamel Taghavinejad has headed the organization.
