About Island Routes
We are Island Routes Caribbean Adventures, the authority on authentic Caribbean experiences. We offer visitors the ultimate in Caribbean destination experiences, bringing together and certifying the premier excursions that highlight what is unique and beautiful in each of our locations. From island tours, cooking classes, catamaran cruises, bike treks and rum tastings, we're much more than tours and excursions. We take visitors beyond the resort and into the heart of the islands. At our inception in 2009, we were one tour desk at one hotel in Jamaica; now we’re the number one tour and excursion company serving Antigua, the Bahamas, Barbados, the Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Grenada, Turks & Caicos Islands, Dominican Republic, St. Maarten, Aruba and Mexico. We have a portfolio of over 500 unique tour experiences, all of which have been hand-picked and have gone through a comprehensive selection process including; an assessment of safety standards and procedures, guest satisfaction ratings, training, insurance coverage, and commitment to sustainable tourism protection. We have received the World Travel Award for “World’s Leading Caribbean Attraction Company” five times since 2010 and have set the tour industry standard by becoming the only tour company to receive a Six Star Diamond award from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences (AAHS), and we’re done it four years in a row. In addition, we have also been awarded four TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Awards. In addition to being the World’s Leading Caribbean Attraction Company, we are a full-service Destination Management Company and Groups & incentives specialist (Certified Incentive Specialist - CIS). Our transport division has over 30 years’ experience operating the most efficient fleet management and airport operation system in the region.
