About JETAA-UK (JET Alumni Association of the United Kingdom)
JETAAUK is a collective of ex-JET Programme participants & anyone interested in Japan. We promote professional, cultural, educational, and social events and news to strengthen Anglo-Japan relations on a personal level. The JET Alumni Association (henceforth 'JETAA') is a voluntary organisation that provides a network for the alumni of the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme (JET Programme). We help promote the programme and its aims and continue to further the case of Anglo-Japanese relations in the United Kingdom. JETAAUK is run by a national committee that coordinates efforts of individual local chapters and is dependent on the continuing support of the Embassy of Japan in London and the Japan Local Government Centre. You can read more about individual chapters and their committees on our website. Regardless of which local chapter you sign up for, you are invited to all events in all of the UK chapters. If you register with local chapters you will also be kept more closely in touch with events in that region.
