About Kzara Visual
I am Chantelle Flores a South Africa-born creative professional making my home in Zurich, Switzerland. I am big on paving your own path in life and chasing my dreams so years back I decided to leave the corporate field working as a marketer and spend time creating a lifestyle that I really wanted. I spent 14 years mastering the art of photography and through my determination, hard work and commitment I built a global name for myself. Through this, I managed to self-fund all my travel adventures to 74 countries and built up an extensive collection of travel images through the process. I created the 51 Countries & Counting platform to showcase my adventures to far-flung destinations, to inspire fellow travelers to make their travel dreams a reality and to travel adventurously on any budget – big or small. I've always been adventurous and found myself gravitating towards foreign cultures and languages from a very young age. I am a back-pack wearing, a camera-toting coffee loving traveller who is a huge lover of the great outdoors and adrenalin pumping activities so you will see a unique range of these topics throughout the blog. Did I mention that most of my adventures have been completely solo! I absolutely love meeting new people, and what better way to do that than travelling this way! I rarely say no to anything, and have this philosophy to try everything at least once. I am known for pushing the boundaries, as a result, my photographs are a fresh take on the natural world - full of energy, mood and movement. I like to look for the beautiful in the common, the unusual in the usual, the perfection in the broken and the uniqueness of the mundane. Like a buttery embracing the beauty of a single ower, I like to focus on the unnoticed – those things that we all look at, but never see.
